Summarizing and Warriors of the Net

Summarizing this way is working much, much better.

Not that it is my students' favorite way to read through the website, but they are learning. I am anticipating a much more informed class discussion today. They will print out their notes and we'll start creating a web of understanding....hopefully at the end of the discussion they be able to formulate how a computer works from both a hardware and software perspective.

Then we'll begin the Publisher portion of this activity.

But first, I want to show them the Warriors of the Net film. It's so much fun and I think it will be a wonderful contrast to the dryness of reading and taking notes.
